The 26th Annual Duluth Parks & Recreation Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, September 18th, from 9:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. at beautiful Chester Bowl Park, located at 1801 E. Skyline Drive.* Admission is $2.00, with all proceeds going towards the youth ski program.
There will be over 100 booths featuring a wide variety of crafts, including hand thrown pottery, original jewelry and home made clothing.
The farmers market will have fresh local produce including pumpkins, corn, tomatoes and fall flowers. One of the market’s most popular attractions is hand dipped carmeled apples, fresh pressed apple cider and locally grown sweet corn, dipped in warm butter.
Food items for sale will include cheese curds, fried bread, mini doughnuts, Bulldog pizza, corn dogs, gyros and fresh squeezed lemonade.
The park stage will feature live entertainment throughout the day, including pop music by Doug Greenwood, from 10am-Noon, Greg Tiburzi playing folk & light rock from Noon – 2, and Jack Kritzler, performing classical guitar, from 2-4pm.
There will be a free shuttle bus, from the UMD Darland Administrative Building parking lot, to Chester Bowl, that will run continuously at no charge.
In the event of rain, all Fall Fest activities will take place on Sunday, September 19th, during the same hours.
